gotta spin!

Hello friends and happy Thursday!

Today I am on the Art Impressions blog with a card using one of the Ai Spinners…but my card doesn’t spin!  I wanted to show you how fun these images are to also use them in a different way.  I’ve created a card with an acetate card front and added the front and back of the Chair Spinner.

For some reason, this image always reminds me of a teacher…hence the paper I chose with the ruler markings!  Since it is Back To School time, I thought I’d make a teacher card.  Although…I really think she looks like she is celebrating the END of the year!  LOL!

I used a black Sharpie to outline the acetate front.  The cardstock base was cut to 5″ x 5 1/2″, then I scored the 5″ side at 4 1/4″.  This gives a narrow strip by the fold to attach the acetate to.  I then covered this cardstock edge and the left of the acetate with the die cut speech bubble border (inside & out).

The Chair Spinner dies (4616) make it SUPER EASY to perfectly line up the front & back images.

Happy stamping!
