a Magnolia treat

Recently I pulled out a Sizzix Score Boards die that I purchased a while back but hadn’t had a chance to use…or maybe I was a bit intimidated by it.  LOL.  Either way, here’s a sweet little box I made.  It was really super easy.

I covered some cereal box cardboard with patterned papers (front & back), then die cut the box…the little flowers are on the die too.  The die cuts part-way through the cardboard and leaves an unfinished edge when folded so I added some crackle paint to the edges for a distressed look.

A close up of the Magnolia mini (from Magnolia-licious) and the crackle paint…

You could fill this little box with lots of things, I’m sure.  I slid the ribbon off and tucked a pack of gum inside.

Have a great day!

  1. So adorable. And she is just as sweet as the present inside. I love how the yellow of the flower goes with the center of the flowers and her PJs.

  2. What a wonderful little box! Love the paper and image you chose.
    Hugs and smiles
