Happy Mother’s Day!

Just popping in to wish all of you a Happy Mother’s Day (a bit early)! 

I woke up this morning with congestion and I’ve had a headache all day.  yuck.  To make matters worse, I’ve had a toothache as well.  I did enjoy sleeping in though…until I remembered that Riley had an appointment at the groomers and realized I only had 15 minutes to get ready & out the door.  LOL.  I hope tomorrow’s a better day. 

I think I’ll be seeing my pillow early tonight but before I do, I’ll share the card I made for my shoebox project at the Buffalo Spring Fest event last Saturday.  The SU! bird and flower were paper pieced with some DCWV papers that matched pretty well to the colors of the MME paper I used on the background. 

I love the look of ruffled ribbon and I need to do this more!  The ribbon here was just ruffled by adding some folds while sticking it down with double-sided tape.  I had fun putting this card together and I hope the ladies at my table had fun making it too.
