another Vera Bradley card

You may remember this card that I made for my friend’s daughter for her bridal shower.  Recently I recycled some more of the Vera Bradley invite to make another card for their wedding day.

My friend saw this beautiful card and loved it, so it became my inspiration.  I have a hard time adding pins to my cards (afraid someone will get poked, I guess) but since this was for such a special occasion and it was not going in the mail I decided it would be perfect.

Be sure to stop by tomorrow…I will have a special post with my second video tutorial.  I made a little something extra for the wedding.  😉

stamps- Special Day by Cookie Crumbs; paper- Lavendar Lace, white, recycled Vera Bradley invite; ink- Memento Black; accessories- QuicKutz Retro Diamonds folder, Martha Stewart mini-hearts punch, pearls, pin, ribbon, SU! Wide Oval punch.

  1. Hi Diane,

    Very pretty card !!

    Greetings, Jaimie

  2. I love the card and the little pin! I always use an earring (bell) back and just push the sharp end into it and then no fears of someone getting poked!

  3. What a gorgeous card, Diane!! It’s always so fun to use part of an invitation, too.
I’m the same way in regards to those pins… they are beautiful on a card unless they poke someone! Use to be that they made little caps to go on the pointy end. But you have used it here, and it is a perfect addition.
