cased gel card

It’s not very often that I completely case someone else’s card but this card just needed to be cased. 🙂 This gel card was originally designed by my friend Linda and I thought it was so cute! You can see her card here. I only made a few small changes to use current SU! products that I have. If you haven’t tried a gel card, you should make one….they are fun to squeeze. LOL. I stamped the Sanded background with Olive ink onto yellow CD sleeves and cut the green frame with the Coluzzle circle using the 6th and 8th (largest) cutting lines. The boat was stamped and watercolored on a piece of white cardstock. Then I squeezed a *small* amount of hair gel inside a reclosable baggie and sealed it shut. The top of the baggie hangs over the top of the white cardstock and is taped to the back side. Then you insert the baggie/cardstock layers into the CD sleeve. Be careful, though….they are addicting. 😉 Oh, the reclosable bags we used are 4X6 and can be found at Walmart in the craft section by the beads.
