spooky envelope treats

Published by diane (cookiestamper) at 10:11 am under 3D and altered art, Stampin' Up!

Yesterday I went to a regionals seminar and wow- what fun! It was great meeting other stampers and getting some new ideas. :) I wasn’t planning to make swaps but changed my mind. I’m glad I did…it was a lot of fun seeing what everyone else created. I decided to make a Halloween treat instead of a card. This idea has been around for a while and I don’t have a clue where it originated from. You simply fold each side of the envelope to the center and fold the top flap down. I wheeled the envelope with the Spooky Skyline jumbo wheel before folding. Then I stamped the ghost from Booglie Eyes, colored & layered it onto the flap. I added the ribbon and a little doodling and applied a little mono-adhesive to the bottom of the envelope to keep the folded sides in place. Fill them with some candy and they are ready to go!.

Would be good for a gift card or money, too, yes?
