I am still having fun with Anna’s set, Posies For You! I love all of the pieces in it…especially the little truffle! Yum! What??…..Your set doesn’t have a truffle in it? Sure it does! Look closely…..
I masked and inked the bottom of the bucket for the truffles and then used the large rose for the top. 😉 Does it look like a truffle? I really want to get Anna’s image of 3 truffles, but in the meantime I improvised and created my own. Sometimes it’s fun to think “outside the box” and see what you can create. Try it!
This was created with Beate’s fun sketch which can be found here. I used Twinkling H2O’s to watercolor the truffles and I added Stickles for a little extra sparkle.

This is just a darling set! I am having so much fun with it! For this card I stamped another one of Anna’s flowers 3 times after masking the bucket. I know, I know… the colors probably aren’t what they are supposed to be! Ha ha. But aren’t they so pretty in tones of yellow & orange? 🙂 I was also having fun with my watercolor crayons again!
The butterfly was stamped twice on the background and I outlined them with a glitter pen. I also used the glitter on the handle of the bucket. The top edge of the designer paper was folded down to let the back side show. I thought the pink was a nice contrast between the Saffron and the stripes. It was so easy to get a perfect fold with the Scor-Pal! I don’t always mention it, but I love it & use it all the time! The bottom edge of the striped paper was punched with the Cornice Edge punch by Martha Stewart.

I am very excited and honored to have been asked to design with Anna Wight’s first stamp set for Whipper Snapper Designs! You probably know that I am a big fan of Anna’s artwork! Anna’s new stamp set is unmounted, made of red rubber with smart cushion cling mount. They are so easy to use and store in the CD case that they arrive in. 🙂 Anna has been working very hard on this and her first set is AWESOME! I just love it! Here is my first card with Anna’s new Posies For You set. It includes the bucket, a butterfly, two word stamps and 8 different flower images! It’s a very fun set!

I pulled out my long neglected Lyra watercolor crayons to color the image. It was fun and a bit refreshing to color with a different medium for a change. I need to pull them out more often! The butterfly was stamped onto the bucket and also onto the Lavendar Lace card base. Then it was stamped a third time onto the background paper, cut and layered onto the image on the card base. I stamped and cut out a second bucket to pop up over the first one for dimension. The words were stamped repeatedly onto the yellow twill with SU! Basic Black ink. It was so easy to align the words on the twill with the unmounted image! To finish it off, I added some paper piercing and outlined the butterflies with glitter.

I *really* need to be working on a birthday card and some more Christmas cards (which I’ve once again fallen behind on). But I couldn’t let November pass by without using this way cute stamp of Anna’s called Autumn Sheep. I just love it! The image was stamped on Shimmery White cardstock, one of my favorite papers, and watercolored. The blanket was colored with markers. I wish I could color like Anna…LOL….but I think it turned out pretty well. The ribbon piece was an RAK from a friend, Gayla (snowcountry311). It was the perfect color and I thought it complimented the card quite nicely. And I actually dug into some Primas and used one here! 🙂

I should be making fall cards but I liked how the colors came together with this one. It is for a special someone to let them know they are missed. The cute little mouse and flowerpot are from Whipper Snapper. I folded the green piece from the SU! photo corner punch in half and wrapped it around the corner of the main image. I wanted to stamp some words on it but couldn’t find what I was looking for so I added a Prima flower instead. Why do I always feel that I need words on the front? I think it looks fine without them!

Oh, gosh….I love this stamp! The first time I saw it I thought it was just adorable! This is one of Anna Wight’s new releases with Whipper Snapper rubber stamps. You can find the stamp here. I am not affiliated with Whipper Snapper….I just love Anna’s artwork and photography! I never got around to ordering any of her images, so when the new releases came out I was anxious to get a few. My coloring just doesn’t compare…LOL…but I had fun with it. The words were computer generated. I made them to fit inside the SU! Word Window punch, but I was pleasantly surprised that they also fit inside the small oval punch- yea!
