Good morning! This month Sweet ‘n Sassy has released one set for pre-order… the Exclamations Clear Stamp Set from the Creative Worship line.
I used the coffee cup (or hot cocoa would be my choice!) image to make a quick CAS card.
I colored with Copics, then added some Crystal Effects to the drink and spoon.
This layout is great for using up some patterned paper scraps! I figured I would use it again so I drew up a sketch. These are the measurements I came up with for this card and can be used as a guide, but you can make your banners any size you want.
Have fun with it and have a great weekend!

Hello friends and happy Thursday!
Today I am on the Art Impressions blog with a card using the 4754 – Hoppy Easter Set. It has a few bunnies with eggs but it also has this cute little chick.
You may have noticed that my challenge card today has the same patterned paper. I found this piece of 12×12 paper that was cut into squares for a project a few years ago. I guess I thought the leftover pieces were too pretty to toss and left them in a box of unfinished cards. The colors and fun floral pattern were perfect for my spring cards today.
I brushed some clear Wink of Stella onto the eggs for some sparkle and the chick’s arms & eggs were popped up!
I also have a sketch if you’d like to try this one.
Have a great day and… happy stamping!

Today I am sharing this card on the Sweet ‘n Sassy blog using the Furry Friends and Chunky Alpha stamp sets.
I don’t remember where I saw a card with a similar sketch, but I love it! I think it will quickly become one of my “go-to” sketches. This hedgie is quite cute…I masked him and stamped the stump below so he had a resting place. Then I chose a patterned paper with a sort-of “woodsy” feel to go with him.
If you like the sketch too, here you go…
Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!

Today Sweet ‘n Sassy is starting a new weekly special for their birthday month. Be sure to keep checking for occasional daily deals, weekly specials, and a grand prize!
Here I used one of the freebies SNSS is giving away this week. I also used some dies from Leaf Silhouettes Dies and Bookmarks & More Dies.

It’s been a while since I drew up some sketches and I really liked this layout, so here you go. I made the width of the image and banner panels a bit wider on the sketch. If you want them the same as this card, they are each 2″ wide.
Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!

Just sharing another SU! card today…I used the SAB freebie Lotus Blossom set on this one.
This flower is gorgeous in lots of colors! (Trust me, I’ve tried it!)
And here’s a sketch in case you like the layout. I used the same one as I did here…but added the paper doily.
I am longing for flowers…can you tell?

Brrr…are you staying warm? We are quickly tiring of the frigid temps and are already waiting for February to be over! It looks like another cold week ahead.
I played with some new SU! stamps recently. I really liked the From The Herd stamp set when I saw it in the catalog so it was one of my first choices. Here’s my card…
This set will be fun to color… but I knew that I wouldn’t always want to color it. 😉 Then I remembered a card design and sketch that I made 5 years ago which would be perfect for this set. I stamped the herd onto a clear acetate panel with Stazon Black ink and used it as an overlay. The brads hold the acetate in place so no additional adhesive is needed!
Here is my updated sketch with measurements for each panel.
The acetate panel is optional. Use patterned papers, embossed or stamped panels, etc. The brads can be moved to whichever panels you want…but you need to use at least 2 brads to keep the acetate layer in place.
Have a great week and stay warm!
stamps- SU! From The Herd; paper- SU! Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, white; ink- Memento Tuxedo Black (sentiment) and Stazon Black (on acetate); accessories- brads, clear acetate.
It’s time again for another Stampavie challenge and this time I made a sketch for you all to try! You can find out all the info you need to play along here on the Stampavie blog.
Here’s the card I made with the sketch…it was just what I needed to use up some scraps!
A close-up of Ruffles puppy…
And here’s the sketch. I hope you can play along and I can’t wait to see what you create!
Have a great week!
stamps- Helz Cuppleditch’s Ruffles Puppy Spring Basket, SU! Whimsical Words; paper- Banana, Black, White, DCWV Spring Matstack; ink- Memento Black; accessories- Blossom Nestabilities, Copics, EK Success flower punch, flower brads.
Happy Tuesday! Today it’s my turn again to post on the Stampavie DT blog and since I needed a boy birthday card, I chose this cute Gillian Roberts image called Skateboard Dude.
I chose to use the reverse side of these fruity patterned papers since they are perfect for a boy card. A small scrap of the striped pattern was paper pieced on his shirt as well.
The stars are from a Cuttlebug die and I used up a few of the flat top eyelets in my stash. I gotta use my eyelets more!
And for all you sketch junkies….here’s another one for ya! I was using up some scraps and kinda liked the layout that I ended up with. Have fun with it & link back if you use it so I can see what ya made! :0)
Have a great day!

Tonight at 10 pm is the ATS March stamp release…don’t miss it! I still have this headache & cold so I didn’t get another sample made with my new set like I wanted to. This cold has hung on long enough…time to move on!
I do have a clean & simple card to share though, that I made a few days ago. It is a quick one…no coloring. But I liked the end result, so I also made a sketch if you would like to try it too!
Here’s my card…
As I pulled out these SU! in-color papers, I realized that I really haven’t used them much yet. There’s NO stamping on the paper here. The words and flowers are stamped on a piece of acetate which was cut just a tad smaller than the cardfront for an overlay.
And there’s no need to worry about your adhesive showing through the acetate. It is only attached by the two brads that were inserted in the middle!
Here’s my sketch if you’d like to give it a try….please link back if you do! (You don’t have to use acetate)
I included the measurements I used to cut the layers in case it would be helpful. If you wish to use just one color or a single piece of patterned paper, you can start with a piece 3 3/4 x 5 before cutting it up.
stamps- SU! Upsy Daisy and Best Yet; paper- Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, PTI white; ink- Stazon white & black; accessories- clear acetate, brads.
Have a great day!
The February sneak peeks continue at All That Scraps and today we are previewing Christine’s new Flower Power set. Monkey is back and is as cute as ever!
The word “Friend” is also from one of the February sets…AmyR’s All Women. Be sure to stop by the ATS blog for a chance to win these sets.
When I was finished with this card, I kinda liked how the layout turned out. So for any of you sketch lovers, I drew this up quick…have fun with it and link back so I can see what you made. :0)
Have a great weekend!
