simple thanks

Happy Saturday! Today I have one more card using stamps from this month’s Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps release. Here I used the Be a Wildflower Stamp & Die BundleSew Many Stitches stamp set, and the Sew Happy Stamp & Die Bundle. This card is really simple…it only looks more involved because of the stitches, but they are stamped!

I wanted to try making a more masculine card with this month’s sets, so I chose this simple image of foliage and stamped it in black on kraft. Then I paired it with some blue and green patterned paper layers. Stamp a few stitches and done!

Have a great day!

wildflower bloom

I have another card today with the wildflower stamps from the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps release. Here I used the Be a Wildflower Stamp & Die BundleSew Many Stitches stamp set, and the Cross Stitch Stencil.

First, I stenciled a few scattered “stitches”. Then I stamped the flowers and leaves. The two large flowers were brushed with ink, cut out, and layered on. The orange flower and bloom word are popped with foam tape. I stamped some random stitches across the bottom and added a little Stickles to the card for a bit of sparkle.

Have a great weekend!

vitamin sea

How is it already the end of June? I have one more card to share this month using the Vitamin Sea Stamp & Die Bundle from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps‘ June release. This card is great for those who don’t have time to color their images (or who don’t really care to color). Instead, you can simply mask & sponge a background and stamp your images using various colors of ink.

I love the sentiment!

Have a great (and safe) holiday weekend!

new life

Easter is almost here! Today I am sharing two CAS Easter cards. I used the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps New Life Bundle to create these simple cards. For the first one, I used some leftover scraps of patterned paper to cut a few strips for the background.

I cut the layered panels diagonally on my second card and tucked a bit of paper doily behind them. The flower image was stamped twice and punched out with a circle punch.

Have a blessed and happy Easter!

just a note butterflies

Good morning! Today I have another butterfly card using the Courage Dear Heart Stamp, Die, & Stencil Bundle from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps Spring release. I love that this set has coordinating stencils! The possibilities of color combinations are endless. I used a simple layout here to focus on the butterflies.

I kept it simple on the inside as well, but I love that it matches the front.

I am going to love creating more butterflies!

Have a great day!

secret garden

Hello! Have you seen the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps February new release? It’s full of sweet images to get us in the mood for spring! I made two cards here using the Secret Garden bundle.

Product links: Secret Garden Stamp & Die Bundle, Scallop Border Dies.

For the first card, I created a mask by die cutting the scallop border from a piece of scrap paper. Then I laid the negative from the die cut paper over my card and blended some Distress Inks. The inked background was then spritzed lightly with water. When dry, I stamped the moth in black ink.

Next, I stamped and colored the moth on a white panel, then popped up the smaller images.

Have a great week!

Adore Him

One of the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps die sets released this month is for the Adore Him stamp set. I used the Adore Him Bundle on the cards I’m sharing today to create two CAS Christmas cards. Also, you will want to check out the sale going on at SNSS…ALL dies are Buy 2, Get 1 Free!

On the first card, I also used Christmas Silhouettes Bundle, Number Dies, and Stars Dies. Baby Jesus was popped up with foam tape.

I was going to keep the image and sentiment on my second CAS card in black and white but then decided to add in a bit of red. 🙂 The wise men are also popped with foam tape here.

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas!

CAS thanks and sympathy

I have two more CAS cards to share today using some new dies from the December release at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. Like I said last week, I love clean & simple cards in the busyness of December!

First, I created a simple thank you card by masking off the left side of the white layer with post it notes. The honeycomb image was stamped and then I inked the background with yellow. The new dies make it so easy to pop the stamped images on foam tape!

Next, I made a sympathy card. Sadly, I’ve needed a few sympathy cards lately and my stash is depleted. Here I simply punched a 2 1/2″ circle from the white layer and placed a light gray cardstock behind it. Again, the new dies for this lovely leaf set and the new word die set made a quick card!

Have a great day!

oops…

Hello! Today I have two cards using new dies in the December release at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. This month’s release is all about the Dies!! There are SIX new die sets that coordinate with some favorite current stamp sets, PLUS a new set of word dies that is the December Product of the Month! These are available in stamp & die bundles, and of course, if you already own the stamps, the dies are also available separately.

Product links: A Little Snarky Stamp & Die Bundle, Autumn Splendor Stamp & Die Bundle, Bee Sweet Stamp & Die Bundle, Snowstorm Stencil, and Texture Tiles 6.

When December rolls around and our schedules are full, I love making CAS cards! For the first one, I masked off a “hill” and inked/sponged the Snowstorm Stencil. The snarky gal‘s shirt was paper pieced with a scrap of fun patterned paper, and I popped her up with foam tape. What would you put on the inside of this card? There’s a lot of ways we can use the “Oops” word!

I stamped and die cut some leaves for the second card and popped up the die cuts. I also used two textures from Texture Tiles 6. The sentiment is from Bee Sweet and I popped up the die cut bee.

I hope you are enjoying the sights, sounds, and preparations of Christmas. It is a busy time for sure, but a very meaningful one! Have a great weekend!

cheerful hexies

Hello! I have two more projects to share using this month’s release at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. There’s also a Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale going on until Wednesday, so be sure to check it out!

I made two CAS Christmas cards for today. This first one is super quick & easy to put together. I used a die from the Cheerful Hexies Bundle to cut various scraps of Christmas prints. Then I stamped and die cut the “cheers” from the same bundle. A snowflake from the Sparkle Snowflakes Die Set was adhered and I added some Stickles for a little sparkle. A few scattered rhinestones finished it off.

The Jumbled Hexies Stencil was used for the background on my second card. I die cut some Cheerful Hexies Dies again and used stamps from the Mini Tag Sentiments Bundle.

Have a great day!
