Oh snap!

Good morning! How are we already a week into December? Yikes! I have 2 cards to share today using the Sweet ‘n Sassy Christmas Cookies and Sunshine Girl Alpha sets and the December Stamp of the Month: Wood Backgrounds set.

This wood slice background is a lot of fun! I already made 2 cards and have a few other ideas to try. Here I simply paired it with 2 images from Christmas Cookies. I used a white pen to “decorate” them.

For my second card with the cookies, I stamped and colored the gingerbread man, then cut him out. I cut pieces off his arm and leg and glued some bits beside him. The sentiment uses Sunshine Girl Alpha.

Noel

Hello! Halloween is only a day away but today I am sharing my last two Christmas cards using Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release. Here I used Thrill of Hope and Texture Tiles 4.

The first card is CAS with some ink sponging on the background. Some snowflakes were stamped in black and others with blue ink.

I stamped the tree line monochromatic on the second card and the deer were stamped over a scrap of plaid from Texture Tiles 4 which was left over from another project. Love those deer!

coffee…then all the things

Hello! Today I have two more cards to share using the coffee themed Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release. This great set is called Jesus & Coffee.

Here are two CAS encouragement cards to let someone know you are 100% behind them…and coffee will help too! My first card simply has a strip of washi tape across the top and the cup is popped up on dimensionals. I colored the cup black and added some dots with a white pen.

My second card also uses the Sunshine Girl Alpha to help create the sentiment. This cup was paper pieced.

love coffee?

Good morning! Do you love coffee? I actually don’t drink it but I do like to make coffee themed cards. They are great to have on hand when you want to add a gift certificate to your local coffee and donut shop!

Today I have two cards to share using some coffee themed Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release and I will share two more on Monday. Here I used Jesus & Coffee.

On this first card I also used a plaid stamp from Texture Tiles 4, the October Stamp of the Month, to create a patterned To-Go cup in a fun Santa style. Part of the sentiment is from All Wrapped Up and a matching embossing folder was used for the background.

For my second card, I also used the Sunshine Girl Alpha to create the sentiment. Here I paper pieced the middle band on the cup and used an edge die for an interesting background panel.

all wrapped up

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share using some Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the October Release. Here I used All Wrapped Up.

On my first card, I did some simple masking to stamp the presents…then colored with Copics. The tiny snowflakes on the last present are from Thrill of Hope.

The plaids are so popular now…even in wrapping paper! Here I stamped a plaid from the October Stamp of The Month set, Texture Tiles 4, and used it for my background. I also used a small piece to stamp the present on. The present was stamped a second time on white cardstock and just the ribbon was colored, cut out, and layered on top.

put on the full armor

Hello! I am just popping in quick with a few projects to share using some new stamps from the Sweet ‘n Sassy September Release. Here I used Armor of God and Winter Birds.

I stamped the helmet and shield for a background on my first card, then chose some of the words to put my sentiment together.

I tried a different sentiment on my second card and added a bird from Winter Birds, a piece of paper doily, and some gemstones.

My last project was a simple bookmark with some fibers that were deep in my closet for the top.

winter birds

Good morning! September is usually full of Christmas in the crafting community so everyone can get a jump start on their holiday projects. Today I have two cards to share using some new Christmas images from the Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps September Release.

Here I used Winter Birds to create 2 CAS cards. I started with a pear green base for both. On the first one, I overlapped three of the images in different shades of green. Then I added a silver cardstock circle and popped up the dove.

On my second card, two of the leaves were stamped around the edges to frame the cardinal which was also popped up.

incredibly blessed

Good morning! September is just around the corner but I still have two more cards to share using Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the August Release.

Here I used Incredibly Blessed to get started on some fun fall cards. The first one has some cute paper-pieced pumpkins. I stamped the middle one and masked it before stamping the other two.

The second card is CAS with a few falling leaves and acorns.

Happy Scarecrow

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share using some Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps from the August Release. Here I used Happy Scarecrow and Texture Tiles 2.

For my first card, I stamped the scarecrow in the middle and masked him. Then I stamped the stone texture image and sponged it with gray ink. The top was sponged with a rays stencil. How cute is this happy scarecrow?
