Even though I’m not a fan of coffee, I just loved this SU! stamp set when it came out. We all have lots of coffee drinking friends, don’t we? Here’s another card I made for this past week’s sketch challenge on SCS.
Have a great day! (and stay warm…it’s pretty chilly outside!)

I finally got a chance again to play along with one of the weekly SCS challenges. Here’s a card I made for Wednesday’s Sketch challenge.
The flowers are from Sweet ‘n Sassy’s Flowers in Bloom stamp set. I also used the NEW coordinating Flowers in Bloom die. I should have taken another pic so you could see the sparkle from the Wink of Stella brush. Also, the butterfly was stamped a second time, cut out, and popped up with foam dots.
I hope you are enjoying the gorgeous fall colors and beautiful weather we’ve been having. This has been a great year for enjoying the beauty of the changing leaves!

It is my turn to share a card today on the Sweet ‘n Sassy blog. This card was actually made for a friend quite some time ago and was forgotten in my files. I am glad that I just found it, though, because it prompted me to search for the hymn on YouTube and listen to it today. Here’s the simple card I made…
The flower is from Thankful Blooms (along with it’s coordinating dies) and the verse and bridge are from Bridge of Hope. Just a few select areas were colored and some Crystal Effects was applied to the water.
Listening to the hymn on YouTube and reading the story behind it (written in the video) has really touched my heart today. Here’s the video if you would like to watch it too.
Hello friends! It’s time for another Challenge Chicks Challenge! We’re a small group of friends who post a new challenge on the first Sunday of each month…no stress, no deadlines…just for fun. And we’d love to have you join us! This month it is Kelli’s turn and her challenge is Fall Leaves & Trees (No Halloween)!
I used Sweet ‘n Sassy’s Leaf Silhouettes, Leaf Silhouettes dies, Typewriter Text background, and God Is Bigger to create my card.
I masked the edges of my main panel before stamping the text background. Then I lightly sponged the edges before removing the mask.
Please join us and create a card with fall leaves or trees… then share it on our Facebook page! Also, you can upload it to the Splitcoast gallery…and use the keyword CHXOCT14. Now be sure to click on the links below to check out what the other Chicks created!

Wow…is it October already? The leaves are getting gorgeous here in PA. I wish we could have fall weather all year ’round!
Today starts a new challenge on the Scor-Pal blog! This month’s theme is Fall/Halloween. We’d love for you to play along with us and make a fall or Halloween project! I used the Pop Up Box Card tutorial on the Splitcoast website to make my card. (I followed the measurements at the end for a horizontal A2 card).
These cards are so fun and pretty easy…I can’t believe it took me almost a year to try them. I think they could be quite addicting! (Thanks, Jeannette, for the little push you gave us to try them.)
Come join us on the Scor-Pal Blog for our new Challenge!

Hello friends! The card I am sharing today uses Sweet ‘n Sassy’s new stamp set called Beary Bountiful Autumn. I chose to use the image of the bear picking apples and colored it with Copics.
What a cute stamp set! He looks like he is stocking up for the winter. I am actually looking forward to apple picking season too. We always make and freeze our own applesauce. Last year I had a good idea and added some peaches to our apples for a peach applesauce. It was SO good! It quickly became our family’s favorite. So this year I plan to open a few jars of our home canned peaches to add to the apples. Yum!

Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps just released (today!) several new stamp sets and a few die sets that coordinate with existing stamps. This new release is perfect for all of your fall projects. I have 2 cards today…the first using 2 of the new stamps, Skeleton Leaf Background and Falling Leaves.
Isn’t that leaf background awesome? I love it!
My second card uses the Leaf Silhouettes stamp set and NEW coordinating dies. The sentiment is from a new set called So Grateful.
Isn’t that a pretty sentiment? There are several mix & match words in this set.

Hi friends! We had a busy weekend- our daughter got married! (I will share pics of that later). For now, I have a card with some new Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps that will be released tomorrow. The weather is getting cooler and our thoughts are turning to fall…apple picking, fall leaves, and autumn flowers. I can’t wait for pumpkins and hot apple cider!
This card was inspired by a blouse I saw in a clothing store recently. The fabric had flowers in black and white on a yellow background. We always color our stamped images and this time I thought it would be fun to color the background instead.
There will be more sneak peeks on the Sweet ‘n Sassy Facebook page tonight starting at 8 pm…come join us!
