a clear bookmark

Good morning!  Today Sweet ‘n Sassy is releasing two new sets for their bible journaling line, Creative Worship!  This month, SNSS is offering a Bible journaling KIT which includes the two stamp sets PLUS some extra goodies that will only be sold for 2 weeks or until they are gone.

Since I haven’t ventured into the bible journaling yet, I decided to create a clear bookmark which would give a somewhat similar look.

I used the new sets called His Book and Decorative Banners.  I also used the Majestic Monarchs stamp set.

I began by cutting a piece of clear acetate to 2 1/2″ x 6″.  Then I used a black Sharpie marker on the edges using a piece of cardstock as a mask.  Each image was stamped on the FRONT of the acetate with Stazon ink.  Then they were colored on the BACK of the bookmark with various colors of Sharpie markers.

A hole was punched at the top for some twine and that’s it.  Very easy!
