It’s another beautiful day here today! Any time we get some sun is a time to be thankful for! I’m taking advantage of it and hanging some laundry out to dry. But in-between loads, I noticed on the Splitcoaststampers website that one of my NY friends is the Featured Stamper this week. Congrats, Heidi! I don’t think I’ve ever played along so I had to go check out the rules. I needed to CASE one of Heidi’s cards, but change 2 or more things about it.
Here is Heidi’s card that I cased…and she was inspired by this one. So this is what I came up with…hope I followed the rules right!
I used a kraft base, spritzed it, and rounded one corner the same. But I switched up the patterned paper strips, changed the sentiment (printed from my computer), and added a sheep instead of the flower. The sheep is from my Prim Blessings stamp set and is popped with foam tape.
I’ve wanted to make a card with this layout so thanks for the push, Heidi! It’s a great way to use up leftover strips!
