couple in love

Wow…we’ve been getting a lot of rain lately!  The couple with the umbrella image in my card today is soooo appropriate!  lol.

The past week I’ve taken a little break from stamping…not by choice.  I had some surgery on my hand so it may be another week or so until I get back in the swing of things.  I have a few cards, though, that I never shared so I figure this is an opportune time!  This card was made for an anniversary back in May.

I paper pieced the umbrella with the patterned paper which is sticky-back.  It’s from an old pack in my stash.  I’m surprised they didn’t make a lot more papers like that.  It’s wonderful to just peel the backing off and stick it down!

That’s about as much typing as I want to do for now.  lol.  Hope you are having a great (rain free) week!
