some penguin fun

This month for our DD/DD Alumni Christmas card challenge, Stacy inspired us with a More Is More challenge.  Which means you need to create 2 versions of your card…one simpler card and one in which you “kick it up”.  I’ve been wanting to try Dina’s penguin template so here’s my “More Is More” penguins…

I made a little hat for the penguins which I probably should have left off the first one but I thought he was cuter with it on.  For the kicked up version, I used patterned paper for his body, embossed his tummy, gave him a string of stars, and added some fake snow to his hat and feet.
