hey chickie

During Hurricane Sandy there wasn’t a whole lot to do while waiting out the wind and rain.  I grabbed a hot cup of tea, some Paper Smooches stamps, and watched a movie with my family.  Then the power went out.  ugh.  My heart goes out to everyone affected by this terrible storm.

Playing along with the current Sparks Challenge, here’s what I came up with.

The PS stamps are just so fun to paper piece…I have a hard time not piecing them!  ;^)

stamps- Paper Smooches Chubby Chums, Hang Ups, and Friendly Flowers; paper- MME Stella and Rose- Hattie, MME Moments, Black, white; ink- Memento Tuxedo Black.

  1. Diane, this is completely adorable. I LOVE the paper piecing, too. Happy to see that you weathered the storm okay. :)

  2. OH MY! I hope everyone is ok and that your electricity came back on!

Fun, fun, papers for such a cute image, Diane. You really work those smooches into adorable designs. We vacation in Cuba and have met some warm people there. We’ve been to the same resort 8 times since 2004 and were taking 6 of our family in December to celebrate my 50th with our friends there. Sadly, that resort got totally destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, but all our friends are okay tho’ some parts of the city of Santiago still have no power.
