a kid’s Christmas

I had a bit of a break this past weekend so I pulled my Christmas papers back out and got my August cards done.  It makes me so happy to know that I am up to 39 cards now that are ready to send!  This month for the DD and Alumni Christmas Card challenge, Stacy said to use any image with kids, for kids, or about kids.  I immediately thought of this Flourishes silhouette set.

The top image was embossed with black e.p. on patterned paper and the bottom image was stamped Tone on Tone.  Some clear Stickles were added to the tree lights and black Stickles was added to the popped up star.

Summer is winding down and school will soon be back in full swing.  I could really use a few more weeks of summer…how about you?  🙂

stamps- Flourishes- A Season of Celebrations; paper- black, Limeade, My Mind’s Eye Colorful Christmas; ink- Versamark, Lucky Limeade, Memento Tuxedo Black; accessories- black embossing powder, EK Success star punch, pop dots, Stickles.
