more tiny teacups

I made a few more teacups…this time they were gifts for some special friends.  Again, I used my Scorpal, Scor-Tape, and another pattern from the lovely American Crafts Garden Cafe line.  But instead of filling them with a Keurig tea pod, I added a few tea bags and a matching pin made from cardstock.  You can see my other teacup with directions here.  Below are directions for the pins.

I added everyone’s initial’s with some pink sparkly Thickers, also by American Crafts.  And this time I added a few paper flowers on the doily.  Here they are all stacked up nice and pretty…

I made the pins by die-cutting 5 layers of brown cardstock for each one and glueing them together (stacked).  Then a sixth layer (white cardstock) was cut and stamped.  The teacup image was stamped again onto patterned paper (the reverse side of the paper used for the teacups) and the body of the cup was paper pieced.  The handle and saucer were colored with Copics.  The top was covered with Crystal Effects and I brushed Decoupage glue onto the back and sides of the pins.

A pin back was attached with E6000 glue and I stamped and cut a simple tag shape to attach them to.

I sure enjoyed making these…I hope the recipients enjoy them too!
