revisiting retiform

I have a few cards to share that I made the past few weeks but I will start with the most recent one.  These two Sarah Kay images just go so well together and I wanted to incorporate them both onto the cardfront.  So I thought it would be fun to try the Retiform technique again.  Here’s another card I made with it about 2 1/2 years ago.  The colors and style are so different from how I would normally use a Sarah Kay image but it was a fun way to break out of my “norm”.

Yes, the colors really are that bright!  Even hubby commented on it as he walked by.  LOL.  Glossy cardstock really makes the color pop!

stamps- Sarah Kay Winter Warmth and Tea Please, Tina Wenke Happy Birthday (flower) and With Love (all by Stampavie); paper- Glossy white, SU! Crushed Curry; ink- Memento Tuxedo Black, SU! Cool Caribbean, Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery; accessories- sponges, Prima flowers, adhesive pearls.
