keeping Christmas going…

…all through the year!

I used to start early (in August) to make my Christmas cards.  Used to.  The past few years I keep thinking that I’ll make a few each month but after a month or two, it fizzles out and I’m scrambling in December once again to finish them up.  I’m hoping this year will be different.

Some of the SCS Dirty Dozen and alumni are making their Christmas cards with a different challenge each month.  I decided to play along and the first challenge (for January) is to use something new…  it can be new stamps, new papers, new ribbons, or a new technique, etc.  Anything you consider “new”.

I made a set of 4 cards with my new Magnolia-Licious Mini Winter Tilda (thanks, Cheryl!) and MFT’s Die-Namics Mini Tabs Quartet.

I really like the mini size of the Magnolias…fun to color and a great size to work with.

Here’s the matching inside…

Does this challenge sound fun?  Would you like to play along?  We’d love to have you join us!  Just upload your card to the SCS gallery with the keywords SCSCCJAN12.
