love leaves a memory

I can’t believe August is here already!  The summer is flying by so quickly.  I wanted to play along with a few more Dare To Get Dirty challenges the past few days but time has not been on my side.  Today I’ll share a sympathy card I recently made for a friend and tomorrow I’ll be back with some DTGD projects for sure!  (I have a challenge coming up and I was a sample maker too). 

I never seem to have sympathy cards so when I sat down to create this one I decided to make half a dozen to keep on hand (and hope I won’t need them).

When I think about making sympathy cards, I always think about using blues, greens and purples.  No purple here though…I mainly stuck with the blues.  I used some flowers from the SU! set Fast & Fabulous and stamped them directly onto the designer paper.  When the card was finished, I applied Crystal Effects to one single flower in the center of the card.
