We have yet to see a flake this year but several of my friends have reported snowfall where they live. I am a little bit anxious for snow but I don’t like the cold! I wish they didn’t go hand in hand. LOL.
For now, I’ll settle for some snowy cards. I made this one a few days ago and finally got a chance to take a pic. This cute set by The Saltbox Studio and the dotted embossing folder were some blog candy that I won on Susan Robert’s blog. I never seem to win anything, so this was a nice surprise. Thanks, Susan!
This snowy guy was just begging to have his pants paper pieced. 😉 The polka dots are the reverse side of the red snowflake pattern. This was one of my favorite snowy patterns and I used up some scraps here again. Instead of coloring the scarf, I applied some Ice Stickles. Then I outlined the snowflake layer and dotted the snowflake accent too. This is a fun set! I am anxious to try another snowy image.
Are you ready for Thanksgiving? I am not. Hopefully by tonight the food I am making will be ready!
