tea for two…just for you!

Happy weekend!  We finally got a bit of rain yesterday and the temps are more enjoyable now!  It has been an unusually hot summer here!

In the summertime we drink lots of homemade iced tea.  But today my project is a little gift of hot tea.  I made this several months ago but couldn’t share it until now.  It’s a great project for any time of the year, though, and fall weather will soon be upon us!

I made a little tea bag book and here is the front cover.  I used the adorable Mouse In Teacup image by Tina Wenke.  It is so fitting for this project!  The image was cut out and popped up with dimensionals.

Here is a picture of the spine.  I couldn’t resist adding a little charm to dress it up.  😉

The inside has a piece of patterned paper that is scored, folded, glued and punched to make 2 little pockets for the tea bags.

I hope you like this project and will try it too!  I first made this type of tea bag holder about 5 years ago and at that time I drew up some directions for it.  Click on the thumbnail below to see how to make this Tea Bag Book yourself!
