new Sarah Kays are coming!

Published by diane (cookiestamper) at 3:17 pm under Stampavie, cards, etc.

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Can you believe that it’s July already?  The summer is flying by and we are finally getting nice weather.  I hope we have nice weather for the 4th!  I also want to wish my Canadian friends a Happy Canada Day today!

Along with the arrival of summer weather, there’s a bunch of fun new images coming soon to Stampavie!  This new Sarah Kay image is called Elodie In Her Garden.  She is just the sweetest and so much fun to color!  You can check out more samples of the very soon to be released Sarah Kays on the Stampavie DT blog

Have you seen the other new images?  There will also be a collection released very soon by a new illustrator… The Cute Critters Collection by Tina Wenke.  They are also a-dor-a-ble!  I can’t wait to stamp some of those too!

For this Sarah Kay card, I used a few different patterns of paper from the Making Memories Chloe’s Closet collection.  I cut three strips that were 1 3/4″ x 4″ and taped them together.  Then I cut a wavy edge along the side and layered a different pattern of paper underneath.  I cut my main image out with my Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilities, keeping the image more toward the left.  And then I cut the right side of the main image again, in a wavy pattern to match the edge of the layers.  The wavy edges were cut with a Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer.

I am behind on sending out some thank you cards, so I made 4 of this design and stamped the thank you verse from AmyR’s Thank You Sentiments on them.

stamps- Sarah Kay Elodie In Her Garden, AmyR Thank You Sentiments; paper- Making Memories Chloe’s Closet, Buckaroo Blue, White; ink- Memento Black; accessories- Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilities, Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer, Copics, buttons, Primas, Liquid Pearls, Martha Stewart Branch punch.

Copic colors- B95, B97, Y21, B00, YG23, E00, E21, C-1, RV10, RV13, YG63.
