pink fuzzy slippers
Tonight at All That Scraps, C.C. Designs is releasing a new set called My Rubber Ducky. Christine just keeps pumping out one cute set after another! For this project I used the bear and one of the sentiments. The set also includes the monkey in a tub, a rubber ducky (of course), 3 more sentiments and some soap bubbles. Here I made a little gift bag and card using the directions floating around on the web for the “box in a bag”. I’m not sure where it originated from, but you can find the directions here. The double sided designer papers are just perfect for this bag. And I used some of my long neglected fibers on the bag tabs and the card. Remember when the fibers were popular and we just had to have them? OK, fess up…how many of you barely used yours too? ;0)
In this close-up you can see the slippers a bit better. Now who wouldn’t love a pair of pink fuzzy slippers? LOL.
I applied some liquid glue and pink fun flock to make them fuzzy. It’s easy to work with and any kind of dimension seems to stand out on your project. Her towel and cap were paper pieced with the same designer paper. And I used a white gel pen on the cap, to give her some freckles, and to color in the bar of soap.

This is a darling set. And what fun it would be to receive this set as a gift…..I might have to order it…the little bag could have chocolates, bath bubbles…oh what fun! A great gift item for the upcoming Holidays! Love the slippers, too, could even tuck in fuzzy little pink footies…my Mom and sister might receive one of these sets for Xmas…lucky them…thanks for sharing!
