my first Magnolia card

magnolia-1-diane-zechman.jpgI made this card a few weeks ago to thank a friend for a sweet RAK.  She sent me a stamp with the image used here and she also sent some stamped images of a few other Magnolias she owns.  Now that I have my very first Magnolia stamp, I am anxious to purchase a few more!

I don’t know the name of this image…anyone know?  She sure is sweet!  I watercolored her  with Twinkling H2O’s.  The sentiment is from the C.C. Designs sentiment set.  I used some of the new Cuttlebug border folders across the bottom and the flowers & butterfly are Cuttlebug diecuts.  I used Stickles on the wings and a white gel pen on the body.

Check back tomorrow…I should have another sample from the C.C. Designs new Halloween release (which will be available to purchase tomorrow night!).

stamps- Magnolia, C.C. Designs sentiment set

paper- White, Celery, Apricot, Pumpkin, Choc. Chip, dp- DCWV

ink- Palette Black

accessories- Twinkling H2O’s, circle punch, Cuttlebug Frills and Just My Type Borders, eyelets, ribbon, Stickles, gel pen, Cuttlebug Spring Floral

  1. Ohhh there it is! The wonderful card I received from you *hugs*. I’m still so happy that you like this cute Tilda. I called her “Tilda in Nightdress” but Magnolia call her “Tilda in sark”. Don’t know what this could be 😉 I can’t wait to see more Tildacards here.

I’m looking forward to your next C.C. Designs card, you know how much I love these cute little stamps 😉
