Today I have a sample of another set that will be released on Tuesday at All That Scraps. This set is called Spooky Scenes. Besides the images shown here, it also contains a frog, some grass, a cloud, a full moon and a branch.
I wanted to make a nightime scene so I got some glossy cardstock and a brayer and set out to make my background. I need a little more practice with the brayer…LOL. But I think it turned out ok. Actually, I started out making 2 cards but one ended up in the trash. hehe. First I stamped the tombstones and masked the one on the left. Then I stamped the ghost so he was floating from behind the stone. Then I removed the mask and made a second mask for the ghost. By masking the ghost, he then stayed white while I brayered the background.
The fence posts were popped up for dimension and I cut a few extra posts to make some corner pieces. And I dotted some eyes onto the bats with a gel pen. The words “here lies” and “R.I.P.” are in this set and I snuck in the word “Spooky” from the Spooky Spooky Spooky set.
