sweet as can be

Published by diane (cookiestamper) at 11:30 am under CC Designs, cards, etc., challenges

sweet-treats-3-diane-zechman.jpgI don’t know which is sweeter…the monkey or the ice cream.  ;)  I made this card for Holly’s sketch challenge today.  I also used up the last of the sweet paper in Christine’s card kit that goes along with the Sweet Treats stamp set.   I was a bit disappointed that the scrap of brown I had left wasn’t large enough to mat the entire image.  But I decided to die cut it anyway and see how it looked with a partial mat.  I think it turned out rather cute.  Sometimes the little curves that get thrown at you tend to stretch your imagination a bit and try new things!

While you are checking out the challenges today, I have another link for you to check as well.  SCS is having a Non-Raffle for the Midwest Flood Relief.  All proceeds will be going to the Red Cross in the midwest.  You can check out the details here.  And….there will be prizes!  Several companies and individuals (including myself) are donating prizes to help out.  Isn’t SCS a wonderful community?  I’m so glad to be a part of it!  You can check out the gallery of great prizes here
