another Peek-A-Boo card

hb-peek-a-boo-diane-zechman.jpgI just love this card design, can you tell?  (Thanks, Linda for sharing it with me!)  Check out this post for a link to the instructions.  It is definitely a fun card to open!  This time I used Anna Wight’s Happy Birthday set.  Her images just make me smile!  Love ’em!  As you can see in the first photo, the cupcake image shows through the windows when closed.  The words Happy Birthday were punched with the Word Window punch, then layered onto a circle punch and the Designer Label punch.  I also stamped the tiny cupcake on the envelope.  I like this Wasabi, Guava, Blush and Saffron combination!  I noticed it here on Kristina Werner’s blog post.  This was a fun color combo.

hb-peek-a-boo-2-diane-zechman.jpgWhen the card is opened, the words “wish BIG!” with her single candle slide into the window, covering up the cupcake image.  The tiny cupcake was also stamped and layered on the inside.  Of course, Stickles was added everywhere….gotta love Stickles!  😉

  2. I’m still having a hard time figuring out how you did this, Houdini! It’s really magic, isn’t it?

  3. I love this card – the stamps and the way it opens. I really need to try one of these. The circles with the cupcake on the inside left are just adorable. I love that look too, but often don’t go beyond the front of the card! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  4. Super cute! LOVE that window!
