altered mirror

gift-swap-mirror-diane-zechman.jpgI am behind on uploading a few projects.  This is a 4 x 6 oval mirror that I altered with the SAB rub-ons.  I found it at Michael’s and they come with the holes for hanging already drilled in them.  The ribbon attached was rather cheap looking though so I replaced it with some of my own and added a flower from Walmart.  The edge of the mirror has a scalloped look to it and I added some stick-on cell phone phone bling to each scallop.   Love the cell phone bling!  They are tiny, but they stick well with their self-adhesive backs.  The cost isn’t too bad either.  Have you priced the packages of gemstones lately?  They are quite expensive I think for the amount you get in a package.  But there are quite a few gems in the packs of cell phone bling.

Not a lot to say, except it is a very quick and easy project.  This was part of a gift swap I participated in a couple of weeks ago.

No stamps, paper or ink.

accessories- ribbon, paper roses, SU! Love & Happiness rub-ons, cell phone bling- Walmart

I am so amazed by what so many people, like you, can do with things you find everywhere! I just don’t think like that! Very pretty!

What a fantastic idea to decorate such a mundane thing as a mirror into something so beautiful. Very creative, well done, you :)
