pink bananas?

pink-bananas-diane-zechman.jpgChristine at All That Scraps challenged us to make a pink & brown card.  I’ve been wanting to use this monkey along with her new monkey words and bananas so here’s what I came up with.  I never had a pink banana but I bet they would be sweet!  😉  The card base is actually Pretty in Pink and it only wraps a little around the front.  It is attached to an A2 piece of Choc. Chip cardstock which became the cardfront.  The white layer on the main image, the monkey and the bananas are all popped up on dimensionals.  Wow- those are skinny pieces of pop dots under there!  The monkey was stamped on a scrap of glossy cardstock with alcohol inks that was left over from another project.  When I added the dots around him with a brown marker, I must have accidentally touched the marker on his belly.  Somehow I made a dot exactly where a belly button would go!  LOL.  I realized when I was done that I strayed a bit…I forgot & used black ink instead of brown.  Ooops!
