Nesties
I finally broke down and ordered a set of the Nestabilities! I loved all of the cards I saw with them but I still wasn’t sure how much I would use them. After my first try though, I really liked them! I guess I’ll have to save some pennies and try another shape sometime. I cut the rectangle for the main image from a piece of glossy cardstock. Then I applied some Alcohol inks and stamped the bird image in black. The bird was stamped again on glossy cs, cut out and popped up. The Bashful Blue layer was cut in half, and the lower piece was embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The embellishments on the ribbon are some Dew Drop type things that were a gift from a friend. I really like the colors on this card! I just threw the 2 colors of Alcohol inks together and really liked the results. So the card evolved from there.

This is really really really pretty. WOW, love the background for your bird. I have went to order these twice, and they were not in stock. So, I am waiting for the next chance I can get them. Glad you like them. I hope I do too!!
WOW, I LOVE this card! The colors, the dew drops, and of course, don’tcha love Nesties? I have the circles set and the rectangle scallops, but I can’t use my May coupon at cutathome yet since I spent my wad on my SU! Starter Kit! I can’t wait to get more Nesties! Thanks for the inspiration!

Lovely card! I bought the stuff to do the alcohol ink technique after Holly demonstrated it for us last month and haven’t used it since! I’ll have to try it this weekend! I don’t have that pretty blue ink though. Hmmmm…..! I love the nestabilities. I own several and they are so fun to use! TFS!
Another color combo of alcohol inks for me to try! I’ll have to pick up some of those dew drops - they really add to the card.
