Pick A Petal fun

A few ladies came over today to make cards with the Pick A Petal stamp set. This set has so many possibilies! We only made 5 cards but I made some more samples to give them lots of ideas. I cannot take credit for these great ideas…they were shared by some wonderful ladies over on Splitcoast. I’ll try to give credits below. But first here’s a quick little treat that I made for each one of them. The directions for this envelope pouch can be found here. I wanted to use the solid petal for a carrot, but I’m glad I saw Susan Jenne’s sample on SCS because I loved how she used the Baroque Motifs flourish for the top! The flower is from one of the SAB sets and the little rabbit is a Martha Stewart punch.

The first picture below is the set of 5 cards that we made. The second two pics are the extra samples I had.

Many thanks to all the ladies who shared their ideas! My cards were either cased or semi-cased by the following people. If I missed anyone please let me know. They may or may not have had the orignial idea, but these are the ladies who inspired me.
carrot- susanjenne, deer- pa stamper, flower- Laurie Schmidlin, balloons- lacyquilter, heart- s1itcher46, dog- Bugga66 & deniseinpa, snowman angel- Sara Frawley, dragonfly- baweinstein 2004, trees- bethinoel & hwright, Easter eggs- illustamper, turkey- gulfcoaststamper, ladybug- Doodledop, tulip- mwohlers, surfboards- jmasse and Jennifer Einolf, and candles- JanTink.

EDIT: I didn’t realize that the snowman was a case of Anna Wight’s Fairy Snowman. If you want to make the snowman, it will be much easier to hop on over to Whipper Snapper….you can find the stamp here and won’t have to try to draw the extra parts needed! (Anna’s looks WAY better than mine anyway) ;)
