Scor-Pal Sampler

A few days ago I received my Scor-Pal and I love it! It seems like I haven’t had much time to stamp lately with the busy holidays but today I had a few minutes to stamp just for fun. :) So when inspiration hit, I got some ink on paper and this is what I came up with! If you look close, the lines between the “quilted” sections were dry embossed. I don’t know if anything similar has been done with the Scor-Pal, so if it has please let me know!
I started out by scoring off some sections by the size and placements of the stamps I wanted to use on some Shimmery White cardstock. Then I stamped the images and water-colored them. Various faux “stitches” were made with a black pen. Next I masked each section off one by one and sponged them. To finish it off, I used a glittery red gel pen for accents. This was a lot of fun to create!

6×6 yule logs

Here’s a 6×6 recipe page I recently made for a swap. I took the photo that I previously posted and reduced the size. Then I placed 8 of them together to fit on a 4×6 size sheet of photo paper and made a few prints. The recipe was printed onto vellum and wheeled with the Bold Snowflakes Jumbo wheel. The snowman and snowflakes are Cuttlebug dies….very fun to use! A snowy ground was cut free-hand from white cardstock. And the holly was stamped, cut out and accented with a red eyelet for the berry.
