spooky wiper card

Published by diane (cookiestamper) at 1:41 pm under Stampin' Up!, cards, etc.

This is a fun little pop-up card to make. I had seen one quite some time ago and recently I received one in a swap. I decided to try it out on a Halloween card. When I was planning to upload it, I didn’t know the name of this type of card so I did a little searching and found out that some people call it a wiper card. I thought it used to have a different name, but I could be mistaken. I also don’t have any idea where it originated from, but somewhere along the line JanTink did a tutorial which can be found on her blog. I would post a link but her blog will not come up for me right now. You can go to my blogroll on the left and click on her name to find her site with the tutorial. Basically how this card is interactive is….when you pull on both sides, the little ghost pops up. They are very cute!

Your card is so cute, especially the way you used the Spooky Skyline wheel. I love wiper cards and they’re so easy to make. Thanks for sharing yours. Here’s one I did for my DH using Crab and Company.
