I think it’s time for some cookie crumbs, don’t you?

I’ll use the random number generator on Tuesday to pick someone who will receive 3 sets of Making Memories stickers (sports, beach and winter) plus a package of Karen Foster eyelets (brights). Just post a comment and tell me how many Christmas cards you have completed.
I have a total of…..ummm………0. I need to get on the ball! I envy the ladies who made a personal commitment to make 10 a month and started in January! Why, oh why, didn’t I? LOL.

I should be making fall cards but I liked how the colors came together with this one. It is for a special someone to let them know they are missed. The cute little mouse and flowerpot are from Whipper Snapper. I folded the green piece from the SU! photo corner punch in half and wrapped it around the corner of the main image. I wanted to stamp some words on it but couldn’t find what I was looking for so I added a Prima flower instead. Why do I always feel that I need words on the front? I think it looks fine without them!

stamps- Whipper Snapper
cardstock- Banana, Cocoa, Sage, and Tickles dp (retired)
ink- black, Brown journaler, various colors for watercoloring
accessories- Photo Corners punch, Prima flower, Stickles

This is a fun card design that we made at regionals. I changed it up a bit and used a pumpkin to make a fall card. The front of the card wraps around and attaches to the back. The So Much set was fun to work with! Although it was not one that was high on my list of must-haves, I think I will use it quite a bit!

stamps- Carved & Candlelit, So Much, Sanded
cardstock- Confetti White, Wasabi, Pumpkin, Pomegranate
ink- Wasabi, Pumpkin, Pomegranate, Apricot
accessories- Ticket Corner punch, Word Window punch, brad

Altering objects is a lot of fun and a great way to recycle. This is an altoid tin that I altered for a little gift. Inside are little punched out pieces from various SU! punches. I wheeled the Fast Flowers wheel with Apricot ink onto Shimmery White cardstock and stamped the words at the top. The words were mounted separately (on the end of the wood block) making them so easy & versatile to use. The hedgehog was watercolored and layered onto a piece of Artichoke cardstock. I punched a piece of Pumpkin cardstock with the photo corners punch and then used the corner rounder on the punched out piece to better fit the edge of the tin. The middle flower was popped up on a dimensional and Wasabi ribbon was applied to the base with red liner tape.

stamps- Fun & Fast Notes, Fast Flowers wheel
cardstock- Shimmery White, Artichoke, Pumpkin
ink- Black, Apricot, Pumpkin, Caramel, Artichoke, Soft Sky, Real Red
accessories- Red liner tape, pop dot, photo corners punch, corner rounder, Wasabi ribbon

I had the pleasure of meeting Shelli (Cofounder and CEO) of Stampin’ Up! at the regional seminar.
She truly is the warm, sweet person that you hear about. We were very happy to hear that she was there! I had heard that she was unable to attend the last few regionals and hoped she would be coming to this one. Having a picture taken with her made it an extra special memory! I haven’t become an avid scrapbooker yet….only dabbled a little here & there….but this just begs to be scrapped.

Yesterday I went to a regionals seminar and wow- what fun! It was great meeting other stampers and getting some new ideas.
I wasn’t planning to make swaps but changed my mind. I’m glad I did…it was a lot of fun seeing what everyone else created. I decided to make a Halloween treat instead of a card. This idea has been around for a while and I don’t have a clue where it originated from. You simply fold each side of the envelope to the center and fold the top flap down. I wheeled the envelope with the Spooky Skyline jumbo wheel before folding. Then I stamped the ghost from Booglie Eyes, colored & layered it onto the flap. I added the ribbon and a little doodling and applied a little mono-adhesive to the bottom of the envelope to keep the folded sides in place. Fill them with some candy and they are ready to go!.

stamps- Booglie Eyes, Spooky Skyline wheel
cardstock- Only Orange, White
ink- Lilac, Orange, Green Galore, Black
access- #6 3/4 envelopes, ribbon, staples, candy

I’ve been working on this fun little swap project and just finished them up. They are magnetic chipboard clipboards to be used for a photo. I found the colorful clips at a local Dollar Tree store and matched them up to SU! colors as best I could. I started out by cutting a 4×4 square of Choc. Chip cardstock and wheeling it with Choc. Chip ink and the Whimsy Jumbo wheel. The cs was glued to a chipboard square and the corners were trimmed. Then I added 3×3 squares of patterned paper and some faux stitching. Just a few added extras and they were done. The brads are super easy to insert when punching a hole first with a Crop-A-Dile. As an after-thought I added some ribbon to the top….it just seemed to need a little something.

stamps- It’s All Good, Whimsy wheel, Everyday Flexible Phrases
cardstock- Glossy White, Choc. Chip, Amethyst, Lilac, Saffron, Bashful, Going Gray, Sahara Sand, Cameo, Ballet Blue, Olive, Designer Prints papers
ink- Choc. Chip, Celery, Cameo, Turquoise, Basic Brown Journaler
access- chipboard coasters, silver brads, magnetic clips, 1 1/4″ circle punch, photo corners punch, Three For You flower punch, Caramel ribbon, Crop-A-Dile

I did the un-thinkable today. I bought a card. aaack! It was one of those musical cards that sing when you open it & the recipient has been wanting this particular one. sigh. LOL. I’m going to have to find a way to stamp on it.

This is a fun project that I made recently. I created my own pattern for the cupcake bag which can be found at the end of this post. I also made a set of tiny 3×3 cards which I kept very simple to slip inside. I really like how cute it turned out!

You can click on the thumbnail pic below to see the cards. Directions for making the set *should* be in the link below. I am not a computer whiz….sigh….so I am crossing fingers that it is accessable. The pattern should print out at the correct size….again crossing fingers….but it can also be enlarged to fit a larger bag of your choice. If you create a bag, link it back here so I can see!

I was riding in the car Saturday and spotted this guy sitting along the road. I haven’t stopped at a yard sale for years….I guess I never seem to have time. But we couldn’t pass him by. So we turned around and $2 later had a new addition to the family.
Being the bug-a-phobic that I am, I had to give him a bath in the washer and spin in the dryer…just in case…LOL.
